Hey, I'm Kelli!

Almost nobody around Indianapolis publishes pricing for this kind of work, and I’ve never really loved that about the industry. You’re trying to budget and the answer everywhere is “inquire for pricing.” So here’s my actual answer, with real numbers behind it!

The short answer

(The longer one is right below, and it’s the part that actually helps.)

  • Real numbers below. No inquiry form required.
  • A content day for a solo business owner runs $750 to $2,500, depending on how much you walk away with.
  • Headshots, teams, and event coverage are separate doors at separate prices.
  • Four things move the number: volume, video, planning, and how many people are involved.
  • The real risk isn’t the price. It’s booking a gallery you never end up using.

The Real Range for Brand Photography in Indianapolis

In 2026, a solo business owner booking a content day here can expect somewhere between $750 for a focused social content session and $2,500 for a more robust session with photo and video across a few locations.

If all you need is one current, professional image of yourself, that’s a separate 10-minute headshot session at $225 for a viewing gallery with two final retouched photos. Different process, no pressure to buy the bigger thing!

Teams work differently. Team headshots are $195 per person starting at three people. A full team content day with photo and video starts at $3,500, and can climb based on headcount and scope.

Those numbers move for a few specific reasons, which I’ll walk through below. But that’s the real range, not a teaser!

What You’re Actually Paying For

A content day isn’t an afternoon of photos. It’s closer to stocking a freezer. You’re not buying one meal, you’re buying weeks of material to pull from when you don’t have time to make something new.

That’s the difference between the smallest session and the biggest one. A one-hour shoot gets you a focused set of images and clips for something specific: a launch, a refresh, a season. The longer ones build a working bank. Images for your website, video clips you or your editor can turn into reels for months, and a custom style guide that answers all the questions, before you show up.

Video clips often come to you raw, meaning a full library of clips ready for you to cut and edit however you want on social. Polished, ready-to-post reels are also available separately if you’d rather hand that piece off.

What Moves the Price, Here or Anywhere

Four things drive the number, no matter who you hire.

Volume. Thirty images take less shooting and editing time than sixty. You’re paying for the size of the bank you leave with, and the hours behind building it.

Video. Clips add production and editing time on top of stills, so anything including video costs more. It’s also where most of the value lives right now, since feeds run on motion.

Planning. A shoot mapped out ahead of time, with a shot list, wardrobe guidance, and scouted locations, costs more than someone showing up with a camera. It’s also the difference between visuals you use for months and ones you admire once and forget.

People and scope. One founder is one schedule to coordinate. A team of eight is a production, with more coordination and editing behind it.

Speaking, Hosting, or Launching Something? That’s a Different Service

If you’re speaking at a conference this fall, running a workshop, or opening a space, that’s event coverage, and it works differently from a content day.

A content day is directed. I’m setting up shots and telling you where to stand. Event coverage is documentary. You run your thing, and I capture it: the room, the crowd, you mid-sentence with your hands up.

It starts at $500 for an hour on site, and images and clips come back within 48 to 72 hours. Content from a live event can have a shorter shelf life, and nobody wants to wait to post their event photos three weeks after it happens.

Worth reaching out as soon as the date lands on your calendar. These sometimes get asked about a week out, which is often a little too late.

The Real Question Under the Question

The worry I hear from some women considering brand sessions, isn’t really about the price tag. It’s “I don’t want to waste money on photos I won’t use.” Fair, and it’s a valid thing to worry about.

A small gallery you never touch costs more than a larger session feeding your website, your social, and your email for six months. The waste isn’t in the price. It’s in booking without a plan for where the material goes, which is why every option I offer builds in planning up front.

If you’ve been circling this decision waiting for the number to feel obvious, now you have one. The bigger question is what do you have coming up!?

A website launch? A business rebrand? A new space? or maybe a team that has doubled since anyone last took a photo. A presentation you’ve been working toward for two years. Whether you’re in Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, Zionsville, or anywhere else on the northside, tell me what’s on your calendar and I would love to document it. Always here to help you plan and capture the best content to serve your business!

FAQ

What counts as a team? Three or more. Two of you can each grab a solo headshot slot back to back, which is usually cheaper.

Do I need to know how to pose? No, and almost nobody does! I am here to help direct the whole time, so your only job is showing up. The women who tell me they’re “so awkward on camera” are usually the ones who relax fastest.

What if my business feels too new for this? Start with the headshot session or the shoot and grow into the rest. There’s no version of this where you have to buy the biggest option to be taken seriously.

How does payment work? Content days take $500 to hold your date, with the balance due the day of. Headshot sessions and minis are paid in full at booking. Team projects are 50% up front and 50% at the session. Deposits are non-refundable.

How far in advance should I book? Two to six weeks out is comfortable, since planning happens before we shoot. Fall and winter dates fill first, so get in touch by late summer for an end-of-year slot.

How long until I get everything? About two weeks for a standard gallery. Larger team video projects can run closer to four weeks.
