Hey, I'm Kelli!

I tried to start a podcast once before, in that blurry season after having a baby. It was for sure the wrong time, and deep down I knew it while I was doing it.

I had the ideas and the gear and a name I liked, and none of that mattered, because I didn’t have the hours. I was building a business in the pockets between school pickup and dinner, my husband was traveling, and every episode felt like it cost me something I couldn’t afford. So I stopped. Quietly, without an announcement, the way you put something back on the shelf when your arms are already full.

I’m telling you that first because the podcast I’m introducing today only exists because that one didn’t work.

The show is called So On Brand with Kelli White, and it’s for business owners who are showing up online, or trying to, without burning down the rest of their life to do it. Short solo episodes, fifteen to twenty-five minutes, out every Tuesday. Long enough to actually teach you something. Short enough to finish on a school run.

Here’s what changed between the podcast that didn’t happen and this one: I got my time back. Over the last few years I built AI into almost every planning and prep corner of my business, the unglamorous parts that used to eat whole afternoons. Outlines that took hours now take minutes. Batch planning that used to sprawl across a week happens in one sitting. When I looked at podcasting again this year, the math was different. Episodes could be planned, batched, and recorded inside the schedule I actually have, not the schedule I kept pretending I’d get.

That’s not a side note. That’s practically the thesis of the show.

So what will we talk about? The things I talk about with clients between setups, honestly. How to sound like yourself online, and what a brand even is when you’re a one-woman business. What to do with brand photos and video so a session feeds months of marketing instead of two weeks. How to show up on camera when you’d rather not. And AI, a lot, in the most practical, least intimidating way I can manage: how to use it so you sound more like yourself, not less, and how to get real hours back in a real week. Plus some of the stuff that doesn’t fit neatly anywhere: pricing, capacity, running a business inside a full family life.

If that list sounds suspiciously like my actual life, that’s because it is. I’m recording between school pickups. The black lab has already wandered through a take. I’m not producing this from a soundproofed downtown studio; I’m producing it from a business built around two little girls and a packed calendar, which is exactly why I think it might be useful to you.

You can find the show at SoonBrand.com, follow along at @soonbrandpodcast, or search “So On Brand” wherever you listen. Episode one is waiting.

One more thing before you go. I made something to go with the launch: 5 AI Prompts That Give You Time Back, built on a simple four-part framework I use constantly called the CORE Method. It’s free, it’s short, and it’s the fastest way I know to make AI actually useful this week. You can grab it at kelliwhitephotography.com — the button says “Send me the CORE Method,” and I meant it to sound that easy.

The name, by the way, came from the phrase I can’t stop noticing. “That is so on brand” is what we say when something matches so completely that it couldn’t belong to anyone else: a friend’s very specific coffee order, a business whose emails sound exactly like its owner. That’s the goal of the whole show, really. Not building you a brand. Helping the one that already exists show up on purpose.

I’m glad you’re in this corner of the internet with me. It took two tries to get here, and I’m glad I waited for the right one.

Talk soon, Kelli
