I tried this once before.
A few years ago I started a podcast, published a handful of episodes, and then set it down. I had the ideas and the gear and a name I liked. What I didn’t have was the capacity, and every episode cost more than that season of my business had to give. There was no announcement and no goodbye post. I put it back on the shelf the way you do when your arms are already full.
I’m telling you that because what changed since then is the best part of this story!
The show is called So On Brand
It’s about branding, content, and AI for business owners who are showing up online without burning out. Episodes run fifteen to twenty-five minutes and drop every Tuesday. Long enough to be useful, short enough to finish on a walk around the neighborhood. Episodes one, two, and three are up now!
What changed
I got my time back, and then I built something with it.
Over the last few years I put AI into the planning and prep corners of my business, the unglamorous parts that used to eat entire afternoons. Outlines that took hours take minutes. Batch planning that used to sprawl across a week happens in one sitting. Then I went further and built a content system around all of it, so one episode becomes the blog post, the email, and the social posts instead of three separate projects competing for the same Tuesday.
When I looked at podcasting again this year, the math was completely different! Episodes could be planned, batched, and recorded inside the schedule I actually have, instead of the schedule I kept promising myself I’d get.
That’s the thinking behind the show. Good tools hand back time and clarity, and staying visible is what builds a brand, so the shortest route to a stronger brand is usually a calmer calendar. I want to show you how that works inside a real business with real limits, not in theory.
What we’ll get into
Mostly what I end up talking about with clients during sessions, at networking events, or over coffee with good business friends.
What a brand even is when you are the business, and how to sound like yourself online. What to do with brand photos and video so one session feeds months of marketing instead of two weeks. A photo without a plan dies on your desktop, so we’ll spend real time on deciding where content goes before anyone picks up a camera. How to be on camera when you’d rather not.
Branded events, where I got my start years before I ever picked up a camera. How to pull one off, and what I take away from the ones I go to. I have opinions and bts to share!
Small businesses around Indianapolis I think you should know about! Can’t wait for this and to explore more.
And AI, in the most practical and least intimidating way I can manage: how to get real hours back in a real week, and how to use it without losing your personality. I also want you walking away informed enough to make your own calls about tech, instead of waiting for someone to tell you what to think!
Plus the things that don’t fit neatly anywhere, like pricing, capacity, and running a business inside a full life.
The range is on purpose. Branding isn’t one department of your business, so the show doesn’t sit in one lane either. I’m recording from Westfield, just north of Indianapolis, with ten years of client work behind me and very specific opinions about what makes a business memorable.
Where the name came from
It came from a phrase I can’t stop noticing.
“That is so on brand” is what we say when something matches so completely it couldn’t belong to anyone else. A friend’s very specific coffee order. A business whose emails sound exactly like its owner.
That’s the goal here: helping the brand you already have show up on purpose.
Three ways to jump in
Listen. You can find So On Brand at SoonBrand.com, follow along at @kelliwhitecreative, or search “So On Brand” wherever you listen. Episodes one through three are up now!
Grab the launch freebie. I made something to go with the first few episodes: 5 AI Prompts That Give You Time Back, built on a four-part framework I use constantly called the CORE Method. It’s free, it’s short, and it’s the fastest way I know to make AI useful to you this week. Get it here.
Let’s plan your fall content. If you’ve been meaning to refresh your brand photos, I have a few fall dates left around Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, and Zionsville. You can start here.
If you’ve already had a session with me, start with episode two. It’s about making the most of the brand photos already sitting on your computer, and most of us are sitting on more than we think. I’ll see you there!
Talk soon,
Kelli
